PPWR

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is an EU regulation aimed at reducing packaging waste, promoting recyclability, reuse, and sustainability, and harmonizing producer responsibilities across the EU, which entered into force in February 2025, with the first requirements applied on the 12th of August 2026.

In the attachment below you will find compliance confirmation letters from Volvo Group concerning the new PPWR.

As PPWR requirements and their implementation continue to evolve, we are currently NOT issuing individual Declarations of Conformity (DoCs) or completing customer-specific questionnaires or declaration templates. To ensure a consistent and harmonized approach across our business relationships, we kindly ask you to accept the corresponding Compliance Confirmation Letter regarding PPWR compliance at this stage.

Should authorities issue a formal audit, regulatory review, or similar compliance check require supporting documentation, the relevant DoC and associated evidence can be made available.
