PPWR

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is an EU regulation aimed at reducing packaging waste, promoting recyclability, reuse, and sustainability, and harmonizing producer responsibilities across the EU, which entered into force in February 2025, with the first requirements applied on the 12th of August 2026.

In the attachment below you will find a compliance confirmation letter from Volvo Group concerning the new PPWR.

As the PPWR requirements and their implementation are still evolving, we are currently NOT completing individual customer-specific questionnaires or declaration templates. To ensure a consistent and harmonized approach across our supply chain, we kindly ask you to accept the Compliance Confirmation Letter as Volvo Group's official statement regarding PPWR compliance at this stage.
