Internal Volvo GRC requests
To be able to utilize the LES Web application you need SAP access connected to your User ID and certain roles depending on what type of access you need.
You will need to apply for the User Role in SAP GRC Tool:
Following three roles are applicable for the LES WEB Portal.
The most common business role used by suppliers, dealers and Volvo Plants, apply for the following role.
❖ EXTERNAL USER PACKAGING
If you work at a terminal or depot, then you should apply for the following role.
❖ EXTERAL USER PACKAGING TERMINAL AND SERVICE PROVIDER
There is also a third role related to the LES WEB Portal, however this role is only intended for the
manufacturer of New empty packaging.
❖ PACKAGING DISTRIBUTION (SEND NEW PACKAGING)
When you have placed the order of the applicable roles the order will need to be approved by your
manager. When manager has approved the order, it will go to the application owner for final
approval.
When the order has been completed you will get a notification.
Below the steps of how to order the roles in SAP GRC Tool:
Open the GRC Tool.
On the home page there are a lot of training material and if you like you can go through the
ones you want or just follow the short instruction given in this document.
To order the roles needed click on the “Access Request”
Then click on the “Add” button and then the “role” button in the drop-down list.
In the drop down-list for Service Name and Application fill in as per below and then click
on the “Search” button.
Choose the applicable role/s and then click on the “down arrow” button to add the role to
the shopping cart.
Click on the “OK” button to continue.
Click on the “Submit” button to create your request order.
After you have the received the confirmation that you have the portal and SAP access you need to
contact the Packaging Master Data team by creating a ticket towards them.
You now need to request that the Master Data team adds the LES Packaging application on Portal and
you also need to inform to what packaging account that your User ID should be connected to.
In LES system we refer this account to Storage Location (SLOC). If you do not know what SLOC
your SLOC is, please see article What is SLOC. If you are not able to find your SLOC, please give full Company details or PARMA and the team will try their best to find the SLOC.
